A CDL is definitely needed to operate a tractor-trailer. Not positive, but I think the driver might need a haz-mat endorsement. I'm sure someone here knows for sure and will set me straight if I'm incorrect.

Some states do and some states dont now on the RV thing. Illini found out how much money they lost on plates. So you have to not do this or that now or get a ticket.

Under 26k no cdl needed regardless of air brakes, RV registration takes beds way to cook and keep things cold, which makes exempt of cdl. If commercial tags then all this changes. Technically class A needed for any truck & trailer (combination vehicle) including your commercial plated box van and open trailer. Hazmat endorsement needed over think 500 gallons of placard items (gas, oil, combustibles & poisons) and needs placard on 4 visible sides. The Big catch 22 is how officer feels that day because if you have sponsor names on car you can become commercial vehicle in eyes of law, whether on car on open trailer or plastard on outside of the enclosed trailer....... I know, it's clear as mud right? FMCSA can be thanked for all the confusion.

Mindwalker, several of us know what a cushion humper is yet others don’t seem to get it. SS is one of those. Last year at the world JD was hooked up from the floor up and ran the bottom. If there is traction on the bottom he will not be a contender. He is the best on the cushion imo but not the best wheelman in the game. Hudson has been up there a lot so I hope he isn’t learning bad habits because I think he is the next one to win a bunch of races
