Sycamore this Friday?

Is parking pretty tough at Sycamore? From the looks of the satellite of the track and surrounding area (may be old), the general admission parking lot looks very small.

Yes parking area isnt the greatest but they will cram you in somewhere. There is parking down by the bar as well

I would recommend you not park right outside the wooden fence to the right of the main entrance (as you look at the building). Assuming you haven't been there before, that is the outside of turns 1 & 2. A buddy of mine had to park in that area last year and something came over the fence, resulting in a broken window on his truck.

It's a clean surface, so not many rocks, but it could have been debris of any sort.

Once you get there you will see there is more then ample parking. If you have a problem parking there, call me... You can park in my driveway and I will call you an uber. 😀

Sycamore has great seating. Right up close to the track. Only bad place is if you sit lower towards turn one the wall for the inside track will obstruct your view for turn 3.

Hope Jonathan Brauns from Muscatine that won the last dirt late model race there comes back. He was really working the cushion around the high side
