CARTERSVILLE, GA – VP Racing Lubricants, the Official Racing Lubricant of Durrence Layne Racing will be a part of the start of each Touring Division event, and then hand out two Special Awards at the end of each race.
Each Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Touring and each Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series Heat Race, B-Main Race, and Main Event will begin in the VP Racing Lubricants Starting Box. The VP Racing Lubricants Starting Box will be designated by two Special Cones on the inside of the track.
When the two front row cars are inside the VP Racing Lubricants Starting Box, the driver of the Pole Car may pick up the throttle and start the race, or as Durrence Layne Racing Announcer Roby Helm likes to say, “They’re in it, and they’re on it!”
VP Racing Lubricants will also award each Durrence Layne Late Model Touring and Chevy Super Series race winner a case of VP Racing Oil. VP Racing Lubricants will also award another case of VP Racing Oil to the winner of the VP Racing Lubricants Slick Move of the Race Award, as voted on by Durrence Layne Racing officials.
VP Racing Fuels is rewarding Durrance Layne Chevrolet Late Model drivers 18 years of age and younger in both the Late Model Touring Division and the Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division with a special point fund in the VP Racing Fuels Young Guns Challenge Series.
The next event for Durrence Layne Racing will be tomorrow night with the $3,000-to-win 50-lap Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series Big Daddy 500 at historic Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, TN. The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with the Chevy Fan Zone where the drivers bring their race cars to the grandstand area to meet and greet the race fans.
