James Rice picked up his first Florence Speedway Super Late Model feature win on Saturday. He started 2nd but took the lead on the first lap and lead them all. Rice had a great battle with Robby Hensley. Hensley tried a few slide jobs trying to take the lead but Rice would quickly get the lead back.
James then jumped into the 23t Crate Late Model and picked up the feature win there too. His two feature wins in one night at Florence matched his brother Josh’s two feature wins in one night from a few weeks ago. I’ve been watching James race since 2010 and it was nice to be there to watch him get his first feature win at Florence.
