Triple Crown reset for July 27th at Beckley and July 28th at Wythe

Officials with the FASTRAK Racing Series powered By Chevrolet Performance have announced the following changes and rescheduled dates for the 14th Annual FASTRAK Triple Crown. The second leg of the Triple Crown will now be held at Beckley Motorsports Park on Friday, July 27th, with a $2,000 to win, $250 to start feature. The $3,000 to win, $275 to start final leg of the Triple Crown will be held at Wythe Raceway on July 28th. The weekend will feature over $23,000 in purse money for the late July doubleheader.

“We wanted to keep the races together to the best of our ability,” said FASTRAK General Manager DJ Irvine, “It is difficult for tracks to change which night they run, and Beckley was willing to step in as the Friday night track for the rescheduled Triple Crown.”

Ross Bailes of Gastonia, NC, won the opening race of the 14th Annual FASTRAK Triple Crown on May 25th at 311 Motor Speedway. Mother Nature forced the postponement of the Princeton Speedway and Wythe Raceway portions of the Triple Crown, originally scheduled for May 26th and 27th, respectively.

The Grandfather clock, sponsored by NRV Furniture, Inc. in Radford, VA will be awarded at Wythe Raceway on July 28th to the FASTRAK Triple Crown Champion. The Howard-Miller clock is valued at $3,800. Additionally, the Champion will be presented with a crown, robe and scepter on the front-stretch of Wythe Raceway. NRV Furniture and Mattress Center is also sponsoring at $100 hard charger award for the final leg of the FASTRAK Triple Crown.
