Thanks Trax, i wasnt sure about the glass. Honestly ill take a train race over nothing right now. Last few years i had been to 20-30 races at this point, and it rained 2 years ago when i went to this race. This will be my 1st of the year so anything is better than nothing

Best thing for caraway is dig up asphalt and make it a great dirt track.
They dont bring many mods. Last race there were 8. Yes 8

So just as bad with asphalt lms i guess. Was gonna go to my home track Tues night for a special show, had 7 supers with 1 being a crate. Caraway have any decent lower divisions?

I think they run a lot of lm and lms there They where only keeping mod shows for remainder of season. The weekly racing was stopped a few weeks ago. Track needs rezurfacing as water seeps up thru in spots last i knew. We raced there with WSMT. NO ambulance there unless its changed. Way out in bfe also. You will enjoy show but these issues are just a heads up.

Scott’s comments about Cherokee were good and bad. Saying it’s the raciest it’s ever been, and he used to dread going there.

Overton, calling out some people in his interview also. People tell ya things and they never come through, but Billy Franklin has.

The track was the best I’d seen it in a long time. Especially down in one and two where we were parked. They were running from the top next to the wall and down on the bottom on the wall and everywhere in between. Jimmy O started in the rear and came up through there. It was definitely a fun night of racing.

I noticed that in Overtons interview, this sounds like a good deal with he and Franklin so hopefully they stick together for a while. Couldnt hear some parts of Bloomers interview, he talks kinda quiet plus we werent in the best seats to hear the PA. Anyone catch what he said about his new sponsor? Cat spot or whatever it was, Essex mentioned it and they started cracking up when Bloomer responded.

7 mods tonight. Ive only heard of 2, Tim Brown and Brandon Ward. 5 super lates, 7 or 8 late model stocks. Plus 4 other classes with no more than 8 in each. Nice looking facility tho, would love to see some of that southern clay put down on this track!

If anything atleast i learned something new tonight. On asphalt when you get black flagged for intentionally wrecking 2 cars you just go to the pits under caution, stop at an official then head back onto the track. Also a red flag is not required for a car fire, but is required to correctly reset the line up for a 5 car field!

Yeah id say the most entertaining race was the 4 cylinders. That was the only race where the leader wasnt spun out by 2nd place. Each 1 was "penalized" except a hall of fame NFL coach and Nascar team owners grandson. Funny how that works out..

Im with you on that 1 too. Went to BG twice, only went the 2nd time bc my cousin had wanted to and had never seen the Whelen mods. Every race was predictable in the last 5 or so laps. Some of (most of) the fans turned me away from that place on my 1st visit. Ofcourse since they were closed last night Caraway drew some of their fans. The most obnoxious 1s ended up sitting right behind us to enhance our 1st (and last) Caraway experience even more!

Only seen BG on YouTube videos and the TV series, someone is going to have to educate me on how they pack the stands the way they do. Know the TV production is likely embellished but watching regular race nights on YouTube is amazing. What the heck do they get out of that circus?

Its been a few years but their admission is pretty cheap at either 5 or $10. Hard to pass up for some people since your basically guaranteed to see a fight or 12.
