Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week is now a month away and the staff is working hard to make this the best Dirt Week for everyone. We will continue to look for more things to make the week unique and attract the best regional racers for the fans of the ULTIMATE MOV and ULTIMATE BOB to enjoy.Our mission is to make the ULTIMATE MOV and Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week fan oriented. We will continue the Fan Experience with the Driver Autograph Sessions and the Super 6 Fan Dash. Our first Fan Dash, back at the I 77 Speedway event was won by Tyler Carpenter. The Fan Dash works like this. At the drivers autograph tent, fans sponsor the fan dash for $5 a chance. Your name will be put in a drawing and 6 will be drawn out in order and put in eggs with numbers 1 thru 6. The drivers will pick your egg with the starting number on it and after 8 laps the winner will split the money with the fan. The first Fan Dash was $445 for the driver and the winning fan, a total of $890. We again thanks George's Inn for sponsoring the ULTIMATE Fan Experience. If any businesses around the Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week tracks want to be the sponsor the the ULTIMATE Fan Experience, we would love to have you.The drivers will be competing for many prizes over the week and we are still working on more. We will have the ULTIMATE Fan Dash money, a great point fund for the top 10, 2 cases of VP Oil Lubricants to a random draw by the fast timer, a free spring from Swift Springs to the winner running the Swift Spring sticker on the car, AR Bodies certificates and the big one. The winner gets a provisional for the Dirt Track World Championship at Portsmouth Raceway Park in October worth between $2,000 to $100,000 depending on where you finish.The 4th Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week is over $100,000 in total purse money. If you have a perfect week, a driver can win over $23,000. The worst you can do is $350 and we are working to make that high just to show up. Again, we thank everyone from the tracks that signed on, the fans that supports Buckeye Dirt Week and the ULTIMATE MOV and Battle of the Bluegrass, the drivers that come to these events and the sponsors that makes all this possible.
