Figured I would start the update thread by asking how much of a points lead might Shirley need to clinch it before Oakshade?

If so, he was mysteriously given 55 phantom points.

Gundaker now plans on running his brother's crate tonight, and will have an engine in his car tomorrow for the remainder of the tour.

30 bucks to watch that caliber of drivers no thanks this whole tour should cost no more then 20 bucks tops. Do u guys remeber when sn races were 15?

This is a make up date correct they could not reschedule the powri midgets back yet add the b mods and its still $30 for a 5 grand to win race that's BS.

It might. If the last few races are any indication, the guy who might play a key role in the points battle is Mike Hammerle. The guy gets lapped about every 4-5 green laps, and serves as a pick/roadblock depending on if a lead lap guy is running high/low. Car is way too slow to be out on the track come feature time. I get it that the guy has run the tour off and on for a long time, but at some point you have to get out of the way. Not trying to bash the guy, but he's way too slow.

Sure, we all remember when SN races were $15. TV and radio were still free. Only difference today is it now cost $25-$30 to buy a ticket to the races and the drivers are still racing for the SAME $5k.

You can save $ and watch on-line, but the drivers you're paying to watch don't see $0.01 of that money.

So who's really taking the driveshaft?

We (in general) want 55 cars in the pits, including all the "stars," for 100 laps, on a track that's not too tacky, but not too slick, with three distinct racing grooves, done by 10pm...
and ALL for just $15.

Helps explain why there's only 18 supers in the pits tonight.

Curious to know has he been running the same motor since the start? Have they alternated between both cars during the start as well? Anyone know?

Same deal at Quincy last night 6 to 8 crates added to make the feature, they were in the way as was
Hammerly. Quincy really sucked way too wet over an hour late starting. Track so rough it almost bicycled several cars. Heckencast broke as did Babb, think maybe 8 cars running at end. Sad to see Quincy in such poor shape. I can walk to track and last night was my first and last trip.
