I don't think chassis is/was the problem.

The sheer number of XR1’s out there right now with the decline of Longhorn isn’t good for keeping parity in the sport. 1 chassis dominating sales isn’t healthy for anyone but Richards and Baker.

And on the hood he has some fresh Clements h.p. stickers.. Not a bad pick for the engine.

Tireguy17, I don't think parity is the word you're looking for. That would be achieved if all the chassis would be of the same brand. If all the racing sanctions mandated a certain chassis and engine manufacturer that would be an attempt to bring parity to the sport.

He was hurting on motors so if he has a fresh one thats good... He was down on hp the last 4 weeks.

Nope I meant parity in chassis sales. Right now it’s hedging on a monopoly, even if the results don’t have XR1 winning everything, they are dominating the sales market nationally probably more than recent years.

I really don't think pairity matters much in this sport. In the mid 90's you could go to a race and be 20 GRT's in a 24 car field every night. I think you could give Bloomquist an 87 Shaw with a fiberglass torque arm and he'd find a way to win in it and probably could!

Production and product support is why they dominate sales your lucky if you can get somebody on the phone at longhorn and then it takes forever to get a car. But I'm pretty sure black diamond is doing pretty well sales wise right now and bwrc is humming along aswell. If only everybody could sell the same car to the different people like bloomer they'd all have great sales lol
