The Final Two Events of the 4th Annual Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week Is On Tap For Brushcreek Motorsports Park and Portsmouth Raceway ParkWith at great turnout of 52 drivers last weekend, we head to the final two events of the 4th Annual Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week presented by the the ULTIMATE Mid Ohio Valley and the ULTIMATE Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series. We have seen great racing the first 3 events with a different winner each night. The Atomic Speedway played host to the 4th Annual Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week Opener and had Eddie Carrier Jr of Salt Rock WV in victory lane. The second night at Moler Raceway Park for the Ike Moler Tuneup, it was R J Conley of Wheelersburg OH pulling out the win. Then in night three, "Chubzilla" Chub Frank of Bear Lake PA was the winner of the Don & Hans Gross Memioral. Next up is the 4th Annual Burn Burner at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex in Peebles OH. Jackie Boggs won this event in 2015 and 2016. The defending champion in 2017 was Tyler Carpenter. If any one of these two win Friday it will be 4 different winners for this Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week. Current point leader Tim Dohm has been the most consistant the first weekend with 3 top 5 finishes, but 2016 Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week Champion Rod Conley is only 3 points behind and lurking in 3rd spot is the ULTIMATE MOV Point Leader Eddie Carrier Jr just 8 points behind. For Portsmouth Raceway Park and the Finale, this will be the first visit to the speedway for the Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week presented by the ULTIMATE MOV & BOB Series. Portsmouth plays host to the Dirt Track World Championship in October paying $100,000 to the winner. We will crown the 4th Annual Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week Champion Saturday night and guarentee the winner a spot in the DTWC worth $2,000 to start. Again, if any of the top finishers in points make the DTWC on their own or takes the Jim Dunn Memorial provisional on October 6th, then it goes down the standings to the next qualfied driver not in the show.Every driver on this tour is trying to position themselves for a provisional spot in either the Jim Dunn Memorial at Midway Speedway on October 6th or the Dirt Track World Championship at Portsmouth Raceway Park on October 18th thru the 20th. All regional drivers want to make either of these shows on their own but a guarenteed provisional spot would give them some easy minds going into October. So for every fan that loves Super Late Model racing and the drivers of the MOV and BOB ULTIMATE Regions we look forward to seeing you at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex Friday August 3rd and Portsmouth Raceway Park on Saturday August 4th for the Finale. We thank all that has supported the ULTIMATE Series so far this season as we grow into your new Regional Series for the MOV and BOB covering OH, WV, KY, and IN.For more information about the 4th annual Buckeye Dirt Late Model Week, go to the series website located at: www.buckeyedirtweeks.com as well as on all social media networks, including Facebook at “Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week” and on Twitter, via: www.twitter.com/MOVSupers using the hashtag: #BuckeyeLMDirtWeekCheck out the official website for the Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series at: www.ultimatesupers.com/MOVHome and continue to follow our social media networks on Facebook at “Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series” and on Twitter at: @MOVSupers For more information on the Ultimate Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series, visit: www.ultimatesupers.com/BOBHome Ultimate Battle of the Bluegrass is also on Facebook at “Ultimate Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series” as well as on Twitter at: @UBoBluegrassWe want to thank all the marketing sponsors for this event and will continue to add as we get more companies and businesses to join the Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week Sponsor Family.
