Think I remember that one. Wasn't it Dale McDowell's first time ever at Kankakee, and people were claiming he had traction control?

I was at that race.If I recall correctly,he had the the wiring for TC but supposedly he removed the device before they found it

Yes he had the tc wires on a distributor that he had borrowed from Scott

Isn't that also the one where Bloomquist went over and off turns one and two right before he got lapped, seemingly to save himself from going down a lap? I used to bring a Mini DV Camcorder all the time back then. Probably taped it.
