I've been kind of following this on Facebook over the last week or so.

Very cool to see how the racing community has stood up and got behind 11 yr old Caleb Hammond from near Oskaloosa, IA.

He was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 9 but after 18 months of unsuccessful therapy he has decided to stop treatment and all he wants is to have his casket covered in racing stickers.

He has been receiving racing stickers from all over the country.

If you decide you would like to send some racing stickers to Caleb & his family here is the address:
314 N. J Street, Oskaloosa, Iowa, 52577.

Man that has really been on my mind every since i have read about this on FB makes me happy to see the racing community come together and help a kid out and also breaks my heart for the kid and his family to have to go through this i have been in tears especially after seeing the video from this past weekend letting him drive a car and go to victory lane.

I have 2 boys 14 and 9 and i couldn't imagine loosing one of them to this awful disease. I don't think a parent should ever have to bury their own child and sadly it happens just about every day and it is heart breaking to read and see it happen.

HoosierDirtFan and MI Dirt Fan, have either of you been able to confirm that he’s passed? I’ve been looking and haven’t found anything besides the two posts mentioned here and maybe one or two more. Mid American Racing Updates also mentioned that they have been contacted and told he’s still with us. Also no mention of him passing on his family’s social media pages. Would really hate for false info like that to get around to much

Here’s a link to a post his step mother posted about all of the packages they’ve received. It’s awesome to see how the racing community can get together like this and make sure a complete strangers final wish is fulfilled.
