Great news...

Would love to see him come back to Eldora for the World 100 in a few weeks after that fiasco tire deal with the 5 drivers a few years ago. Cool to see Ricky back in a dirt late model.

Ricky must have paid the WRG illegal tire fine then. I can't remember him running a WOO race since. Good for him. That tire deal put him in the hole, just starting a national career.

He hasn’t ran a WoO race because he hasn’t had a ride. JR Haley ride was a part time deal when modified events didn’t conflict.

Ironically, I don’t believe the JR Haley car has been at any WoO events since the tire deal.

I haven't had the pleasure of watching him run so I don't know the name but he has to be a pretty decent wheel man to be put into that ride right?

He's top of the list in the IMCA modified ranks right now. Good clean racing

Did Ricky drive Hudson Oneils car in the Dirt Million race on Saturday ?Yes. He had a flat leading a B Main on the last corner. Went from first to about 4th or 5th.

Don't sound like he had Lady Luck riding with him.

He took a rock to the oil canister Friday and lost the engine. The team brought out a new Clemente's and dropped her in Friday night. Fired her up for the first time about 3pm Saturday. We were pitted next to them. He was flyyyyyying Saturday but lost his tire as stated above. We were pulling for him after chatting with him and his crew guys Friday. A bunch of younger guys but definitely know what they are doing.

After he lost his tire in the B main they loaded up. Ricky actually drove #36 car to the starting lineup for Matt Irey as we only had 1 other guy who had driven before, even that short of a distance.

Ricky was top notch all weekend, super cool and funny. Hope the season goes well for him and he gets a ride in whatever series he wants next year out of it.

Hudson was around on and off and was in the booth Saturday for prerace ceremonies. Kid is as polished as they come. Polite, proper English, and really fun to listen to.

How does this work? For some, a flat tire is lack of patience and some, it's bad luck?

I think Ricky compares to Wise, except Ricky isn't in the vicinity of so many wrecks. That's a rookie deal and depends on how long it lasts. They both have talent.

With as many rocks as that track has you can't call it either way
