Brandon Hightower Returns to Victory Lane in Winged Modified Action
Set to Invade Sabine Motor Speedway this Saturday
Natchitoches, Louisiana (08/21/18) – A last-minute change of plans found Brandon Hightower returning to the driver’s seat of his Rick’s Trailer City #B52 Bicknell Racing Products Winged Modified on Saturday night.
Needless to say he would make the most of the opportunity as he went on to wire the field at Lone Star Speedway in the finale to pick up his fourth win of the season.
“This week started on a disappointing note for us as we lost our primary sponsor for the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Bristol. Our good friends at Timmons Truck Center stepped up to try and help us, but we just didn’t have enough time to get everything together,” Hightower stated. “So, we decided to get the Winged Modified out, and man we had a great time and got the win.
“This was a nice and much-needed, morale booster for myself. We’ll be back in the Winged Modified this coming weekend, and then hopefully we’ll return to NASCAR Xfinity action on September 1 at Darlington. As always, I want to thank everyone who supports my racing program.”
Brandon Hightower returned to the driver’s seat of his Shadow Trailers #B52 Winged Modified at Lonestar Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) on Saturday night for the Winged Modified Shootout, which featured both the Texas Winged Modified Association (TWMA) and the Ark-La-Tex Wing Modified Association.
In a field of 20 cars, Hightower started the night with a heat race win, sending him into the redraw. Receiving the fifth-starting position for the A-Main, Brandon blasted his way to the front topping Thomas Burge, Dale Wester, Kodey Keimig, and Dana Woods at the line to pick up his fourth win of the season and a $500 payday.
