You act like Jason didn’t have a top of the line S&S before this new one... lol

you act like you actually know something. So tell us, if he already had a top of the line hauler why did he purchase a new one? Maybe because something is changing? You tell us captain obvious

Because like Lanigan he keeps them for 1-2 years and then sells it (as the haulers really don’t depreciate in value if you take care of them) and then practically buys a new one for free... Lanigan had been doing it for years before he got the CBR ride...

Why so butthurt? I meant no disrespect... I just know the hauler Rauen had was a 2017

not butthurt one bit. I know Jason has for years bought and sold haulers also. As everyone knows he has one loaned out to Stuckey for their team. I think there is more to this than just buying a new hauler to buy a new hauler, especially after talking to an owner who Brian approached about driving. Seems he's wanting to do more than just a handful of races a year.

It’s NEVER been about Birky wanting or not wanting to drive... lol

Guys like Rauen, Bowyer, and Rocket1 keep S&S busy.

I’m fortunate work right by the place and they got new stuff rolling out about every month.

I would tend to agree about Birky but most of the guys going this w/e haven't even seen Mansfield so I'd say that will even things up a bit..

Given Birky experience he'll do just fine IMO

No it's option C = called the truth. So he's already raced this year and was competitive, but you think this weekend with a brand new car he won't be competitive?

Nope, that track is gonna throw them a curve.

I enjoy watching birky wheel a car and hope to see it more.. was funding a big reason he retired so quickly? I know everything about super racing is crazy out of hand expensive, but I was under the impression his family was wanting him to get out. Or his wife.. I can’t imagine a guy as talented as birky would have a hard time putting something together.. I’m sure Vic hill wouldnt mind throwing him a engine..

I don't have a thing against Birky, but to go to a race of this caliber of drivers, alot who have raced at Mansfield already, and think he'll be competitive, just isn't gonna happen. Now if he raced as much as the WoO and Lucas guys and went up there with the "top notch" equipment, then yeah I'd say he'd be a factor.

Lucas has only raced there twice I believe. Most don't have much track time there. Except maybe Bloomquist and Moran.

He has top notch equipment. A brand new Black Diamond and the car owner is partners with Stuckey in different deals, so I would say he has as good of stuff as EPJ. He may not have as many laps as most of the guys, but he isn’t going to be out to lunch either.

I would assume that driving a dirt late model would be like riding a bike once youve done it once you could pick back up with it and do it again. I know the cars from when he was running regularly to now have changed and the shock game is more important but come on if hes got a good crew chief that has been around the game and a good car which a new black diamond doesn't sound to bad then he could go and be competitive

ppl want to just hate.. why is Birky any different??

I'd say he can make the show

Oh yea i saw he can make the show too. I mean its not like he wasn't racing just a month or so ago and was very competitive then so idk why they want to hate on him unless they are still mad cause he left the sport when he was in the prime of his career and they had to find another driver

I was the same skeptic on here before he raced Dubuque last month, but he proved me wrong up there. I look for him to contend tonight! Maybe he will run Eldora and Knoxville too, that would be pretty cool to see him back on the big tracks again.

He lost some sports right at the start, but once he got goin he was right there with the top guys in lap times just once he lost track position it was very hard to gain it back...

Maybe I will be proved wrong. I've been wrong before. Wasn't a very racey track. Like some one else said, looks like the inside wall in 3 and 4 kinda keeps them from making good corner entry. Maybe tonight will be better.
