May see a casino near you making odds for DLM major races sooner than later. These casinos are set up to where you can make an account/deposite and follow your gut. Rumor is, as early as the world 100. Imo it would be great for the sport and take the sponsorship deals to the next level. Negative or positive, let’s hear the 4mers opinions on the possibility.

Seems like corruption is never to far behind gambling.

Was in vegas last year for supercross... Couldn't find a casino that took bets on that. Only way dlm gets betting is if they end up with computer systems at track like horse betting. Now that would be fun being able to bet on every race

I don’t think you’ll see it till they run open tire rules ............ too many variables for finish and pay out !!!!!

I personally don’t think there’s enough of a market for the casinos to jump on board. Maybe a handful will jump in board but as for the majority, I think we’re to much of a niche market. I do think you’d be somewhat likely to see something like fan duel or whatever it is where you pick certain drivers and get points based on their performance and the top X% of players entered get a portion of the pool but I don’t think we’d see much more than that anytime soon.

I got 100s of casinos by me they don’t do any motor sports betting. I don’t see any the big name casinos like Harry’s, Hollywood, L'Auberge, ect. doing that. I don’t see it happen unless it show on tv nation wide on a major network.

Haha. Are you kidding me? If you think there is controversy in racing now....wait until there is wagering on it publicly. You haven’t seen a circus on here until that crap starts. 🍿

Casinos aren't going to take bets on dirt late model racing.

The sport will surly die if this happens.

I don't see it happening at the big casino's. To many variables. Bookies like to control everything they can like injury reports in football for example. Do you think there is going to reports on how many laps such and such has on their engine, chassis etc?

Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort sponsors quite a few stuff in MI.

But I don't forsee gambling on races. With the exception of a couple major events but not anytime soon.

Seems like corruption is never to far behind gambling.

Or politics, government agencies,big business,mega churches,etc.etc.etc.

Seems like a good way to fund a purse. Just keep the vig real high.

I wouldn’t mind betting on the dirt races. Not much else in a casino that is exciting. But to bet on racing I could get into.

Could this be the reason we are getting so many $50,000+ to win shows. Somebody knows something we don't.

Meyer Lansky, known as the "Mob's Accountant", was an American organized crime figure of Polish birth who, along with his associate Charles "Lucky" Luciano, was instrumental in the development of the National Crime Syndicate in the United States.Wikipedia
