Jake Knowles Scores Old-School Win at Dixie Speedway
Three-Race Chevrolet Performance Series Tilt Up Next

Rome, Georgia (08/28/18) – It was an old-school kind of night on Saturday at Georgia’s Dixie Speedway. No qualifying, just pill draw for heat-race starting position, and a straight-up start in the feature.

Jake Knowles made the most of the throwback night by taking his Knowles Race Parts & Bodies #66 Josh Roberts Trucking/ Longhorn Chassis Late Model to Victory Lane for the sixth time in 2018.

“It was a really fun night, and definitely had that old-school feel,” Knowles commented. “We went down there to do some testing for the upcoming Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series event. The car was flawless the whole night, and I’m excited to get back to point’s racing this week. If we perform like we did this week I’m confident that we can gain some ground in the championship chase.”

Jake Knowles traveled to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) on Saturday evening, where he was getting his Chevrolet 525 entry dialed in for the upcoming Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series tripleheader.

After starting the night with a heat race victory, Knowles earned the outside-front-row starting spot for the feature with his uncle, Oliver Gentry starting alongside.

Jake grabbed the lead at the drop of the green flag and never looked back en route to picking up his sixth win of the season.
