Eldora was actually supposed to race both Saturday and sunday that weekend. Late models, 360 sprints amd non wing sprints on Saturday and world of outlaw sprints and mods on sunday

Chad Simpson and Jack Sullivan would figure to be at Wheatland on Oct 12-13, as point leaders of MLRA and Comp Cams.

Chris Simpson and Cade Dillard likely would have been at Wheatland, but now I would consider them more likely to be at Eldora (Simpson 32 for sure). Edit, I forgot about the Joliet WoO also being scheduled for that same weekend. Chris Simpson likely would have attended Joliet over Wheatland, and Dillard may have as well.

Jeff Roth was at Eldora this weekend, but I would look for him to stay closer to home and run Wheatland, as he has run the MLRA tour this year.

The Pond might be a better show... We wound up there after the initial Dirt Million date was rained out. Pretty unique place!

I know some folks in Chicagland are disappointed.

It's hard to reschedule this time of year without stepping on another show. It wasn't happening this weekend though.

Three plus inches of rain are expected, I’ve been there after torrential downpours, it’s not good. The inside pits becomes a pond. You going to pay for these haulers and cars that get trashed. Or how trashed the grounds will be, and all the vehicles that get destroyed.

It’s beyond a doubt the right call, not even close. And I have my tickets for tomorrow. Sometimes just using common sense and looking ahead at the big picture can do miracles for ya. Try it.

Postponed in 1989 to the first week of Oct. Postponed twice in 1990 and wound up running Oct 13 or there about. I just know I couldn't make the third one after I went to the first two attempts and got soaked. 1990 a horrible year for rainouts.

That is true about boone tho. I was there the night lightning struck a car in turn 4 and burst into flames! Good thing that tornado came through and put it out. I've always got lucky on parking. Last year I parked in the lot behind the main concession stand. Was at my seats in 2 minutes. Couldn't go this year, but now that it's postponed, maybe I'll look for someone who can't go and is selling good seats.
