I’m sure this format will get a few stirred up. I’m really looking forward to this race as I do every year. Sure hope to get enough cars for 6 heats.

Is the racing at Brownstown worth the 213 mile drive from ohio to watch?

Come on over and check it out. Then you can tell everyone how much you enjoyed it. I will be making the about 210 mile drive back to Eldora in a few weeks.

I live 20 miles from track and eat and sleep dirt late model racing and wouldn’t step foot on the property. What about running pure stocks, Hornets, midgets, and wanna b late models on Friday for 20 bucks on Friday. Basically a regular show with boring ass qualifying thrown in for Lucas. Yes I’m bitching cause I’m sick of this track putting out low quality racing but yet want to charge top notch prices to get in. Place is a money hungry, dump. Want to go in pits for both days, enjoy that 80 dollar price tag. I know for me it makes me happy knowing I won’t b wasting my money. For all you people traveling hours, just drive a few more and go to the cotton pickin 100.

I was curious to see what some were referring to. YouTube is a really good tool.

Guess I'm spoiled going to atomic speedway about every week. Minus a refrigerator size hole in 3&4 the track prep is pretty great every week. The easy choice would be eldora for the 4 crowns but I enjoy a good super late model race.

I travel 235 miles one way to Brownstown, IN every year and never get disappointed at THE JACKSON 100. Now, I have been there in the early spring race when it is cold, etc. and I have seen it become one grooved real fast. But for THE JACKSON 100, I can assure you that you'll love the racing as it's always very competitive. I have an opportunity to drive to Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus (a little bit further) and I never pass on the opportunity to go to Brownstown, IN Speedway. I don't think you'll be sorry...

Not raining on my parade. Going with a fresh, positive attitude and a good time will be had. Sounds like Mr. Extreme will also.
I think I just saw Nick Hoffman’s hauler go that way. American flag on the back.

What is supposed to be so great about the HILLBILLY 100 this weekend?
I realize it is paying $50,000 to win but I heard the track facilities are horrible and it is so dusty there, you can't see. I know it is the richest one day payday in Dirt Late Model but the seating, from what I hear is terrible.I am off Sunday and could make the drive. I need someone to convince me how it is such a great race... Thank you!

Yet you say this about Tyler County????? Makes no sense at all.

Too dusty to see at one track, bad. But at another track, good?????

Hey Clayton...When I posted the quested about the Hillbilly 100, I was actually seeking feedback re: why I should go based on some of the negative comments I’d heard about that facility because I’ve never gone to that track. I’d always heard it said that it’s very racy, etc. and was considering going there for that show. I didn’t make it there after all. As for Brownstown Speedway, I’ve been there many times over the years and while you walk away with a dust covered body/clothes, you can still see great racing there. Sunday’s show was a prime example of just that. Actually, I’m surprised it didn’t get more dusty than it did. I don’t attend any of their regular shows because I’m 4 hours from there one way but THE JACKSON 100 has never proven me wrong. It’s an AWESOME race. I can’t really compare it to THE HILLBILLY 100 because I’ve never been there.
