Took the 50 mile hike to Seymour, WI for their version of the Fall Brawl...

190 cars checked in to the pits including 21 lates.... they ran A mods, B mods, IMCA stock cars, Grand Nationals (a metric car with 9,000 rpm engines!), sport compacts and street stocks. Fast paced show with one 10 minute intermission. Started at 5PM we were headed home at 10:45.

Fast, slight dusty, track that was a smooth as silk and didn't get black until the end of the A-mod main about 10PM. Thanks Mother Nature for the rain.

Great job Eastern Wisconsin Stock Car...

4M'er Adam Janke debuted his new '15 Rocket and held his own putting the first laps on the car since he bought it. Good job Adam!

I watched those grand nationals years ago at Plymouth and Oshkosh. Seemed like a really cool, unique class.

They are sort of an evolution of the Hales Corners sportstman cars of years ago.

They pretty much use pavement bodies and noses and a metric frame.

They call em GN on dirt but something different on pavement at Kaukauna.

I sold one of my hot rods to a guy who used to run one at Plymouth. He said it got too pricey for him. Rules changed often and never got cheaper. In three years they went from stock clutches and manual trans to mini clutches and two speed Saginaws to Bert's. Cost him 7g's just for those changes.

They sure do spin 'em...
