$14,500 to win.... Not even mentioned in "3 for the Road" on DOD...
Is it because they didn't cancel for DLM's Main Event or because they are running 100 classes for a big $$$ race....??? (Actually 8 but, wtf?)

Unfortunately for the Duck, it’s World weekend. That’s all that matters. I’ll drive right past Ducktona headed for the Big E.

Because it's always gone against the DTWC or the World now..

DoD has done many stories on Time Management and too many support classes. The Duck is one of the biggest violators on this subject in the south. Plus, no matter who you are, When the WORLD is running, everything else is second fiddle...

Some people like 10 classes, intermissions, and not leaving till 3 am. If you do knock yourself out and enjoy. But for me, 4 classes tops, super feature first, complete show over by 11.

I agree they run too many classes on Saturday nights but in years past at the deep fried they run about 4 classes on Friday an 4 on Saturday hope they do that this year.

Heats and qualifying for Friday night
There's at least one feature that night for a support class. Then all other features are Saturday night.

$35 for a $14,700 to win super LM show isn't that bad. Plus 7 other classes. I mean you pay $35 for a $10k WoO show.

And I bet you it will be worth every bit of the $35...hey let me tell you Eldora is nice but Duck River isn't no slouch...that place is hammer down lightning fast,3 wide most of the time...they have great racing in all classes there.....great facility..where ever u go this weekend I'm sure it will be good but my eyes will be at Duck River for the biggest race of the year....

Great payout for all classes especially Supers, and a 2 night general pass $55 is not bad. I with you slinging it is a bad fast multi groove Dirt Track !

In all fairness this race was scheduled many months before The World got rained out.

I have been to it many times and it does have too many classes and far too much qualifying!!! I went to their Labor Day deal and it was well after midnight when I gave up and left with races still being run. The biggest factor about all these classes is they bring In extra revenue via Pit PA$$ money.
Now trying to compare a 1/4 mile dirt track to a 1/2 mile isnt really possible, it is pretty racy but after all those classes it gets worn out!
Since most of the big dogs will be up north it might be a good show with some top notch regional cars. The biggest downfall is that this is a 2 day show. So if you want to see the heats you have to pay for both nights to see the whole deal! That's a lot of $$$$
But good or bad the Duck faithful will continue to stay up half the night and insist that it's the best little dirt track in the world.
