It’s the 72 hours of Phenix City, not 24. ....paying a few more bucks for the Sunday racing on ppv is waaaaaaay better than driving to this cluster f*** with every lower class imaginable.

When my finances were better I always went for practice night and stayed thru till the end Sunday night. I do wish they'd replace some of the classes with some wingless sprints/midgets and maybe some OWM's just to shake things up. Maybe the New Southern States Sprints series can get on the card for next year. I'd go for sure then!

Being in a hurry, isn't not a thing at EAMS!! Especially on these 2 big weekends they have! Didn't know about the open wheel series, sounds good! I know many only want to hear about Supers!! There many ways to change the National weekend, but it is what it is!!

5 Whitener running 3 classes too. Intermission for track prep for Sat and Sun afternoons are scheduled! We usually go to a decent place and get a good meal during those!!

Late Sunday intermission with a 4 plus hour drive home and losing and hour did me in. The track prep seldom helped anything except hot dog and funnel cake sales. Funnel cakes were always good though.

Not “they” just Billy. Billy, William and Alexis were supposed to take EAMS to the next level when Bev left. Looks like the laugh is on them. Everything Billy touches turns to dirt (no pun intended).

Also, people buy things all the time without having money. Don’t let that fool ya. They never bought AMS. That fell through and the series is barely hanging on thanks to Billy’s ways. I doubt it comes back next year too.

Most cars are not finished to race at that time and I don't think that date would help the fan count at all. :)

If they have not announced a date by now I don't see how they could. The only logical solution would be before or after Speedweeks in my opinion. They certainly won't make it up this year in December!

I hate that this race isn't getting run this year. It's been one of the year end big races for as long as I've been following dirt late models.


I was off the week following the National 100 last year. I stayed up late watching the marathon race of attrition that McDowell won.

Supposedly they still want to race the National! Too worried about a date that someone else is racing on! Losing cars and fans! The National is still the "Grand Daddy of the South" and they should give it another shot this year! Whether they cut the purse or classes, they still should try again!! In my opinion! I wouldn't run on the Dome weekend, but all others should be considered! I'll guess the 2nd weekend of December, the week after the Dome! We shall see!

I showed up there 2-3 years ago for the Bama Bash, it was cancelled due to rain. I showed up at the track at about 2 PM on that Friday and it was dusty and 70 degrees outside.

More like Weather 4, Senoia 5 for the year for us!! Overall weather screwed up about 6 big weekends for us, Eldora World 100 included!! Numerous other races too! It's ridiculous!! Hope it rains during the week more next year!! I may go nuts waiting on the Ice Bowl for a month!!
