Racelogic Chassis School to be Held at Billy Moyer Racing on December 15-16, 2018

(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) For the second straight year, Billy Moyer Racing and Racelogic Chassis School have teamed up to provide racers a unique training seminar – focused on Late Model chassis – on December 15-16, 2018 at BMR’s storied Batesville, Arkansas race shop. Six-time ‘World 100’ winner Billy Moyer, who is the proud owner of 835 career victories, will be a featured speaker at the Racelogic Chassis School, along with his son Billy Moyer, Jr., who is a rising star in the Super Late Model ranks and a former Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series Rookie of the Year.

“This is something that we did for the first time last year and it was a huge success,” commented Brian Littleton with Racelogic Chassis School. “Billy Moyer is arguably the greatest Dirt Late Model driver of all time and for him to share setup tips and speed secrets – that’s an awesome situation for pretty much any racer. We are extremely excited to be doing the seminar again this year in Batesville!”

In the confines of their historic headquarters, the Moyer’s will be joined by AFCO engineer Ben Baker to provide an in-depth look at every aspect of how a professional Dirt Late Model team prepares their cars for each differing track condition. One of the potent racecars out of the BMR stable will also be on display throughout the class – allowing attendees a hands-on experience of the do’s and don’ts in preparing and setting up a winning racecar. In addition, there will be a spring smasher, scales, guide book, and many other hands-on items that will serve as visual aids for each person attending this two-day seminar.

“I have taught at a few of the Racelogic Chassis Schools over the past few years,” quoted Billy Moyer, Jr. “I will be honest that at first I didn’t know what to expect, but they have all been awesome experiences so far. It is really cool to give ideas to other racers and it is even cooler when you see them at a track a few months later and they are telling you how much the class has helped their own racing program. Dad and I are excited to be doing one of the seminars again here at the Billy Moyer Racing headquarters.”

The Racelogic Chassis School at Billy Moyer Racing will be held from 9:00am – 6:00pm on Saturday, December 15 and will include a lunch. On Sunday, December 16, the seminar will run from 9:00am – 2:00pm. The school, while it will cover a variety of topics, will be highly focused on the spring smashing machine and how to properly adjust your car with one. It will be a detailed explanation of how to adjust the second nut on a stack spring or when to run each type of stack. Also, it will be explained how to properly set a bump stop and measure how much travel each one of your cars may have with the bump stop.

“In this ever-changing world of Dirt Late Model racing, the spring smasher and shock dyno are two of the most important tools in tuning a car and winning races,” exclaimed Hall of Famer Billy Moyer recently. “While we will cover so much more than just the spring smasher and shock dyno during the course of the two-day seminar, that will be the primary focus of this year's event.”

The cost for this Racelogic Chassis School is only $499.00 and registration is limited to only 75 attendees. Spots are quickly filling up and will sell out soon, as information gathered in this class could be invaluable for your race team and your quest to find victory lane. If learning from arguably the best Dirt Late Model driver to ever turn a wheel isn’t enough, Billy Moyer and his son Billy Moyer, Jr. have decided to reward attendees with a huge discount sale on used tires, suspension parts, engine parts, as well as a couple of complete cars and engines. On Friday, December 14 from 10:00am – 5:00pm, attendees will be able to get a jump start on their 2019 campaign by accruing these discounted parts at BMR. In addition, the famed trophy room will be open for attendees to gaze through the trophies, plaques, and other awards accumulated through Billy’s 40+ year career on dirt, including the six globe trophies for winning the sport’s grandest race – the ‘World 100’ at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio!
