Dennis Erb, Jr. Transfers into Both Charlotte Biggies; Prepares for Turkey Rumble

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series wrapped up their 2018 season at the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina from November 1-3 in the 12th annual running of the 'World of Outlaws World Finals' presented by Can-Am. A pair of $12,000 to win contests were held in front of a standing-room-only crowd at the Charlotte-area speedplant. During the two rounds of time trials, Dennis Erb, Jr. laid down the twenty-second fastest lap in Group B for Friday's show, while he stopped the clock twenty-third quickest in Group A for Saturday's program.

On Friday night, Dennis grabbed the third transfer spot through his heat race to earn the outside of the seventh row for the start of the 50-lap main event, which was pushed back to Saturday afternoon due to a midnight curfew. During the daytime affair, Dennis slipped back a few positions to eventually wind up seventeenth in the final finishing order. In the 'World Finals' finale later that evening, the Carpentersville, Illinois standout once again placed third in his stacked heat race prior to starting/finishing fifteenth in the 50-lapper. Complete results from the 'World Finals' weekend can be obtained online by clicking on www.woolms.com.

With the ‘National 100’ at East Alabama Motor Speedway already canceled for this upcoming weekend, Dennis Erb Racing will stay in the Southeast and will instead turn their focus to the annual ‘Turkey Rumble’ on Saturday, November 10 at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia. The Ultimate Super Late Model Series will preside over the one-day showdown in northern Georgia and a $4,000 payday will be on the line for the Super Late Models.
