got a buddy is building a sport mod. he will be putting a stock steering box on the car, his budget won't let him go for the aftermarket boxes what would be the stock box to look for, his car has a chevelle clip. thanks.

I have been told that the Jeep Gran Cherokee box with a quickener is the way to go.. Not sure myself, never had to try it yet. Early 2000 is cheap at Auto Zone or the likes.

I think the '98 Grand Cherokee is the one he want....12-1 ratio. Used around here are $40.00... new a bit over $100.

! think the ratio is the same. the difference will be the internal stops.

The iroc box on my 70 monte doesn't let you steer enough.
ok on the track. hard to navigate the pits sometimes.
