What does everyone use to keep rod ends/ heim joints lubed? I've used the white lithium spray grease, wd40, air filter oil, or whatever I had in the trailer but never really put much thought into it. Are there pros and cons of using different stuff? I usually do it every week after washing the car so the joints are clean when applied. Shocks/j-bar/trailing arms/lift arms/steering arms/etc.

I get spray at Napa like $13/can. Can't think of name but it's graphite stuff and stays applied even when gets wet

I think Jim is thinking of dry graphite spray. I like it as it's not wet and doesn't allow dirt to stick to it and act like sand and wear out rod end faster.

As an ole go karter I always preferred Tri-Flow. Plus, if you spray it in your eyes, it doesn't burn!

Speaking from non-experience of course!... wink!

Be careful with petroleum if you have heims with teflon.

yes should not have to lube Teflon heims at all. just make sure they are clean.
