Maybe it won't be so top dominant tonight. If the bottom will come in and be as good as the top, that will help all of the drivers.

I think the track being rough in spots hurt some drivers, the last two nights. I believe they are running a little harder tire out there and some aren't used to it. Correct me if I'm wrong. If they get it a bit smoother and moved the exit Ute tires in a bit,the late races may be a little better, with grooves. Same fast guys though. They just run where it's fast.

RaceEngineer

They need to go back to the pill draw. Qualifying resulted in Simpson hitting a slower car, disabling his mount, then destroying it on the subsequent lap.

What’s gonna happen when there’s multiple slower cars in front of them?

RaceEngineer

It don't hurt as bad when you get less of a run on them.

Here's your top qualifiers: Group 1- Joey Moriarty, Pierce, Terry Phillips. Group 2- Sheppard, Hudson O.,Bloomquist. Group 3- Tony Toste, EPJ,Kyle Beard, Ricky Weiss. Group 4- Pat Doar, Garret Alberson, Stormy Scott. All these were in the high 14s, everyone else in the 15s & up.

X mod main won by Josh Cain over Lance Schill and Cole Searing. Searing is a WISSOTA Super Stock ace winning a ton of races in the SSs. He won in the X Mods a couple of nights ago. Not too shabby for a guy who get in the X car once a season.

These cars are so momentum dependent with the absurd aero and the track has reverse banking at the bottom.Passing mostly happened on restarts.

That was a fun race to watch. Bobby fell back to 4th or 5th. And had to get up on the wheel and work for this one.

That was a great race to see! Crowd was really getting into it! Great atmosphere, big crowd, and seemed nearly everyone around me were sprintcar fans and they were really into it! It was a tough and challenging track, but heh, that’s dirt racing, unpredictably predictable! Pretty dam good driving by all!!

Well, he did go out to Arizona to annihilate the competition, so....

Nice to see Bobby drop back a few spots at the beginning. That was only so AzDirtRacin3 wouldn't have a sissy fit cuz he started up front. Remember, this dirt guru is there watching it with his own eyes:rolleyes:

Here we go already. January, most posts, Bobbie or Ole bloomer. February, I will guess will be more of the same night after night. Is it to early to talk eldora. The crown jewels should be a 2 car show. I say make them 2 run a 10 lap race before the feature, that way after banging off each other someone else will have a chance. Sarcasm guys, get it. Don't get your bikini's all hiked up the crack. Carry on. :)

Did Bloomquist even try the high groove once? He and EPJ got lapped in a 30 lap feature with multiple restarts. Didnt think Id ever see that happen.

an X mod is a bmod. a lot of them guys are Wissota midwest mods from up north. Cole Searing runs that car some through out the year, not sure if it is his or not. Running into a slow car while qualifying is 100% the drivers fault. I have raced for 20 years, it is your responsibility to pay attention to who is in front of you when group qualifying.

Many would and have said one of the best big shows ever in 2006...That dtwc driving the boat anchor when he won is a pretty big show win too considering the circumstances.
