It’s been a “ back gate “ track for 15 years now. I guess I am officially the last ever PPMS super late track champion !!

Huck, Yea you got the title. Under the circumstances of what ppms has become you can put that one behind something so people don't see it and ask questions.

And Marlar only won the WOO title because anull Andy built Sheppard soo many hand grenades ... Snort won the Lucas title because Bloomquist kept breaking and missing the pill draw ... so I’ll put asterisk next to those also. Snort only won the title because Marlar , Sheppard and madden ran woo instead of Lucas ... You can only beat the cars that show up. And hate all you want history says I am the 2017 Ppms super late track champion ... period

Herb Scott won over 500 Late model races now its a semi late race .If I were his family I would tell him to take his name off of it.

I’m most surprised by getting rid of the red Miley rumble as a super late race

That you boast about being great at everything , better than everyone at everything and that you qualified to an invert at eldora.

Oh wait, that isn't actual history....those are just your words about you puked out about you, period.

Congrats on being a past track champion, I was the pinewood derby champion once....but I don't really talk about it much.

My goodness. One of the greatest places to see Super Lates is dead..fun track to drive a super late on also. Sad..very sad. Watching crate lates on this track is akin to watching grass grow

I'm thinking Deek Scott could really care less what ppms does. People that raced with and knew who Herb was on track are all but gone. I as a fan enjoyed watching him race. He stayed involved at lernerville and ppms for years. Miss him. Red Miley had time for everyone. Dang shame, they need to do a combo, maybe Friday night when the lucas guys come in they should run the rumble.

There’s two, actually. The Red Miley Rumble is a super race too.

I misread it. That’s lame.

What in the world is PPMS doing?

Can’t get any cars to show up for super races. Red miley rumble and herb Scott both had like 15 cars last year

Looks like to me they want to pay as little as they can for lower divisions and charge as much as they can at the back gate for an inferior product as their main division aka crates.

My brother won the last UMP mod title at Sharon. Is what it is. You still won it.

I was wondering how long it was going to take PMS to axe lates. Crates there are exciting:).

Of course not. Track is huge. They put no money into the place. They charge more than anywhere else for comparable shows. And their regular shows did not pay well in any division.

My brother won their, got I think $450 in a modified in maybe 2012? That was a special, I believe there was a $100 extra on top.

True, Matt Miley deserves most of the credit for the tracks issues. Worries little about the fans, even less about the racers. His bottom line is the only priority.

The sad part is a multi-millionaire was purchasing the track several years ago after Emma Garin died and he had plans in the works to put a ton of money into the facility. He wanted that track to be his living legacy after he passed away. Instead of doing what's right for the racing community, the Mileys got lawyers involved so that they could buy the track instead, and then after they screwed him out of it they continued to let it deteriorate.
