Weiss earned a lot of wins in 2018 and has started off on the same foot in 2019

It's funny how if you go back to the World 100 threads people thought he wouldn't be in a Sweet-Bloomquist car anymore after that little incident.

I'm interested to see how season plays out for Weiss

I expect him to have a humbling year on tour. Most first timers do.

You see the current lineup for that tour? Someone with his experience in a LM can finish top 5ish for a first timer.

Yep, sounds easy. Till reality kicks in.

No one said it would or could be easy

Some are ready to hand him the title already:rolleyes:
I hope he kicks some behinds, but I have my doubts.

Not me. And them fools be crazy. lol. I'm leaning towards Madden even switching to Capital but my money would be on Rocket1.

Seems to me he is the anointed one in some folks mind primarily because of his affiliation with Scott and Sweet / Bloomquist. He certainly could be a breakout late model touring guy but it’s a long road to the end and even good programs have bad luck at times.

prep is everything on the tour, yes he is good but to run week in and week out and keep up on the prep, thats another story, rocket is hard to beat because of the prep, don't get me wrong brandon is good but the help and support is second to none with rocket, as it should be being a factory ride

It's hard to run new tracks, with out a book and someone else's book isn't the same. All said, Weiss is good, but there are some short comings in his game, which will probably get ironed out. Look at it this way, he is running against the best equipment, with the best drivers that have run these tracks so many times, they're like home tracks. The Rocket house car will be hard to beat. Best peeled car at the track and B Shep will run it where they want him to and do it with perfection. Possible 5th over all and ROY.
