I'm not sure of the laws on child support in other areas of the country, but around here they struggle to enforce back child support beyond wage garnishment (if you have a legit job) or suspending your drivers license. Neither of which seem to bother the ones not paying.

Also 92,000 in back pay wow either he's never paid a penny in over ten years or his income shows he makes bank cause even if the charged $300 a week which is astronomical it would take years to get to that balance...

400 dollars every week... that’s 4.5 years to get to to the 90k mark... and you know Scott pays cash with no paper trail

This whole thing doesn’t make sense to me. They are saying he is from out of state. Seems odd they would chase him that far for past child support. Plus like was said before I’m sure his tax return doesn’t show a lot of income so 90 plus grand seems like a lot

I know a guy from here in WI that got in hot water for being a couple g's behind in child support with his starter wife.

He lived in MI at the time but his wife was in WI. They kinda moved back and forth between the two states for a couple years.

He caught her in a motel room with another guy. He punched the guy in the face and broke his jaw. No charges were filed but the investigators found the guy owed her some back child support. They turned that info over to the local AD who was trying to make a name for himself to advance his political image.

A month later he gets a court summons from WI for child support arrears. The local county DA in WI, even though they really had no jurisdiction, put the squeeze on the guy.

He and his wife later split and they worked out a settlement between each other for the back child support but that county DA still pursued the Dad claiming the deal they reached in MI had no standing in WI... put him through two years of hell.

Don't know how a guy can get 92K behind... wow.

He could have missed a court date for the matter in whatever state and had a warrant out for him because of it. Another way a ball busting lawyer goes about it is to ask the judge to find him in contempt for not doing as the court told him (in this case pay child support). Either way a warrant would be issued. Chances are the ex knows the racing schedule and alerted authorities.

One being my wife’s biological POS sperm donor(I do not say Dad because he is not her father). He signed over his rights to not pay around $70k back child support. Then tried about 8-9 years ago to buy his way back into her life, and was mad when she didn’t send him a Fathers Day card or start calling him Dad. Dude lived close, gave up his rights, and adopted a girl my wife’s age(5-7ish?). Because my wife wouldn’t call his wife Mom. She was not, end of story. And that girl is a train wreck, guess it’s karma.

So if you meant me, trust me, it was just from knowing people do it. I’m not for it whatsoever, pay up, get your wages garnished, go to the big house, but still pay up. And you are a tool if you don’t pay up.

We don't know the entire story, so I won't judge him until he is found guilty. There are guys that are married and don't take care of their kids too. No jail or law stepping in to force their hand.

You are exactly right about taking care of kids. I am with SS and think Bloomquist will win tonight. Whenever there is some type of controversy around that team, they always seem to come back and win right away. And if we divorced, I’d pay my child support. In saying that, I do know from my cousin that they don’t give a crap if you get your hours cut and are bringing home $500 a week. If your child support is $400, then you got a $100 a week to live on. That is where I have sympathy, somebody skipping out on something worth a $92k bail, I’m good. I have watched one of my best friends life become a living hell because of his ex-wifes antics and the court system slaps her on the hand and sends her on the way! He has spent thousands and thousands of dollars to fight her in court and the judges always lets her slide! Its a sad joke!
