I have recieved phone calls on some teams that are sure or 90% sure they are coming. Another sure is Ross Bailles. Some of the 90% folks may surprise, but it would be somewhat foolish to confirm until they confirm. Some Georgia biggies say they are coming, time will tell. Should know more soon as it shapin' up to be a real nice field.

Rolled past the track on 20 bout an hour ago. Track prep underway. Excellent!

The track prep will be very extensive these next 3 days. As DC mentioned it was having multiple techniques performed on it today, he said techniques,LOL!! The track will have more work done on Thursday, then after practice on Thursday, another big round of preparation will be done. We are seriously committed to having the best surface for this event. There are some names possible from a phone call today I received, that a couple of surprises may attend. We will see.

TST had a pretty nice practice last night, I was not there do to having to get up at O'dark thirty. 62 cars practiced for about 3 hours. Around 15 SLM cars practiced, with the rest hitting it hard.

Tanner was in the Pope 22 car last Friday night at Duck River, and had a great run finished 3rd running with WoO and some Lucas Racers !

Its sad looking at the crowd at TST and other places, I bet there weren't 500 people there. It seems only Lucas and WoO get good crowds. That just isn't healthy.

pretty good race , mac daddy had her dialed in , my local home boy , cooper ran 7th , right behind owens , who i expected more from but he aint been here in like 10 years and in a new car i suppose , any way , had a good time , a little disappointed in LLM though , he mentioned Crow and not me......lol.....i guess i should have cooked something....lololol.......all jk aside , you done a great job as usual mark....BTW , was that you singing the national anthem ?

So Page pulls a good slider on Tidmore, side by side down the front straightaway, and going into one, Page pretends the dude ain’t there. So yeah there’s contact. Only thing 38 did wrong was going into 3, he shoulda checked up sooner, let Page pull his chicken sh!t, and used him up or punted him.

Yes it is, especially when they worked extra hard on having a good track surface. Maybe the word will catch on if they are patient...

Maybe it was just because of the two days, tonight could be a lot better..

We tried so hard on this race, from track prep to advertising, and Ray Cook's tv commercials. I don't have a good answer for the crowd, kind of puzzled on that as were others. We hope to have another one next year and build on last night. The software of the visiting group did not jive at times with ours and the scoreboard, I had some hectic moments during time trials and felt lost as some points.

Had 120 cars and a very nice pit gate. We just needed more butts in the seats. I di mention ya Fastford.
