That sucks. Bubba (and Bubbette) were the source of many laughs on here. I remember DJ giving him a shout out during one of the East Bay Winter Nationals radio broadcasts.

It's hard to have a sense of humor, when you know your going down. Here , is a toast of Mayllocks . RIP Bubba. I can see where it's going to be hard to post, as drugged up as they keep you. Cardirt0 , I look forward to winning those races, sense my legs stopped working.

Then we get a rain out, tonight. I got to one last year. A friend and my daughter smuggled me out of hospice, with a pick up truck full of oxygen and Morphine. It was a good time.

as some said jim was a wealth of racing knowledge. he was also a great photographer and car owner. my family raced sprintcars with him at atomic speedway in the early 1970's. he owned cars until just a couple of years ago. R.I.P jim

Dang I am sorry to hear that, have not checked in here in a long time and when I do I see this post. R.I.P Bubba had many a good laughs both on this site and that other Sprint Car site we where on before this.

I still remember that night he came out to Raceway 35 when I was racing Karts and we hung out for the evening, if half those people there would of known who he was. Like a lot of people here have already said, this guy really knew more about dirt racing then most people would ever give him credit for.

I will drink a beer for you tonight.
