Bobby dominates the completion at the big Iowa half mile. May have been a new track for Pierce but he made himself right at home. Chad Simpson challenged early but fell to 3rd behind Will Vaught...............Take it to the bank, young Pierce is a rare talent. Might as well start building the extra wing at the dirt hall of fame.

Then on the way home, the 32 team can drop in and collect the 3k check at Quincy. Oh wait, maybe the check is already in he mail.

Quincy is a tight track where you can throw the car around a good bit, be hard for me to pick against him.

Just watched the racing on DOD. Great show! 3rd heat was fantastic along with the feature. Wild ride by Jordan Yaggy.

But you still have to be able to pick them! LOL!

That particular driver seems to knock them off more, than picking them!

Yes he is knocking the wins off you might say!

He picked up win number 8 & 9 on the year so far this weekend. That was a bad looking flip & roll by Yaggy. Glad he is ok...

I’m not a pierce fan but how can you call that cherry picking? He went to the highest paying races of the weekend that didn’t require days of traveling. Maybe he should have sat at home because he knew he had a good chance to win.

Let's hope these guys that defend Moyer, the greatest cherry farmer of all time, don't come in here talking about Pierce being a cherry picker. It's not like he didn't have some good competition.

I heard Moyer didn't vote for George Washington after he found out Washington chopped down a cherry tree.

Jack a s s there are no cherry pickers in racing.

Pierce won more money this weekend than any other driver in the country.

This game isn’t about cherries being picked. It’s about cashing checks. Some of you still don’t get that.

If you’re referring to me, you need to re-direct your frustration. I’m not the one accusing Pierce of cherry picking. I think he’s the kind of guy that will race the biggest race he can get to.

I don't get the cherry picking thing myself, he raced against really good cars. My thing he raced 3 times this weekend to make 11k and ross bailes ran 1 to win 10k. So that's 3 tracks worth of expenses and alot more laps on his car just to win 1k more. He his a hell of a driver and can race where he wants when he wants and can win anywhere he goes.

Hauler payments, Engines, tires, it all costs money...

From a business standpoint Pierce's strategy may make a lot of sense, time will tell but I'd say it's on target so far.

Almost everything was rained out this weekend. And they had already announced they were running a regional schedule. So they were more than likely hitting them races anyhow.

Nothing wrong with what they did.

Now, end of the year, he runs up 25 wins, 95% small regional shows, then while very good, not the same as 25 on a major tour. Or winning almost every Crown Jewel type race. But, if I’m a family team like him, run about 300 miles around my house tops, and hit the big races I wanna. And nothing wrong with it.

Maybe he’s getting that XR1 from the secret clique with all the trick stuff that only Rocket has access too figured out.:)

Bobby has already won 10 times (Including six of his last seven starts) & earned 58,555 in first place cash (Inclcluding his 10,000 Wild West Shootout Bonus) He might be on his way to a single-season career high in wins. Maybe, it was a smart move to leave the DB team.

This coming weekend is a good example as to why Pierce is running a mostly regional schedule this year. Just way to many good paying races around home.

good post no. 19 husker , but , this is the main problem that is hurting the local , more regional tracks , it takes money and talent , and he has both , to win even these so called " cherry,s" . Now the travelers are figuring out they will come out better racing smaller shows closer to home that pay less but win them all. i am all for competition , and sooner or later he will peak even locally and get beat , but it may be a rough row to hoe till then..........
