9th Annual Jack Starrette Memorial Set for May 18th at Modoc Raceway
CARNESVILLE, GA - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region will make their first of two appearances at the track known as "The DOC" Modoc Raceway located in Modoc, South Carolina for the 9th Annual Jack Starrette Memorial paying $5,022 to win. The event is to honor a great man who was a huge supporter in the racing world. Ultimate Southeast competitors will battle it out for 50 action packed laps around Modoc Raceway all seeing who will claim their spot in victory lane.
The May 18th race program will include the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region ($5,022), 604 Crate Late Model, 602 Crate Late Model, Stock V8, SCDRA FWD, and Super Street. Gates will open at 4:00 PM with drivers meeting set for 6:30 PM and racing to follow. Grandstand admission will be $20 for Adults, $10 for Ages 7-12, and Ages 6 and under free. Pit and trackside parking admission will be $35 for Adults, $20 for Ages 7-12, and Ages 6 and under free.
Modoc Raceway marks round number seven in the 2019 Ultimate Southeast Tour as the chase for the championship continues. Headed into Modoc the current top five in the Ultimate Southeast standings include defending Tour champion Zack Mitchell (174 PTS), Daulton Wilson (141 PTS), Anthony Sanders (97 PTS), Dustin Mitchell (96 PTS), and Jeff Smith (72 PTS).
In six completed events the Ultimate Southeast Tour has seen six different winners which include Michael Page, Dustin Mitchell, Dale McDowell, Zack Mitchell, Ross Bailes, and Casey Roberts. Who will claim their spot on the winners list at "The DOC"? Join us Saturday May 18th as Ultimate Southeast competitors light up the 4/10 mile oval to see who will visit victory lane and take home a $5,022 payday.
