ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Week 8 for the 2019 Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series season will feature 15 races at 14 tracks in six different states, and hopefully the cooperation of Mother Nature. There will be four races on Friday night and 11 races on Saturday night with opportunities for all four Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Divisions.

There will be 12 races for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division, 12 races for the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division, seven races for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division, and six races for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division in Week 8 competition.

Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN will host the first of two races this weekend on Friday night with a Week 6 Make-Up Race for the Late Models, Street Stocks, and the Modified Sportsman. Saturday night will see the same three Divisions in action, and the Street Stocks will compete for $1,000-to-win on Saturday night at Thunderhill Raceway.

Moulton Speedway in Danville, AL has all four Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Divisions in action on Friday night with the Late Models, Street Stock, Late Model Sportsmen, and Modified Sportsmen. Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS has the Street Stocks and Late Model Sportsman in competition on Friday night, and Salina Speedway in Salina, KS will host the Late Models on Friday night.

Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS will run Double Features for the Late Models and the Street Stocks on Saturday night. The first features with each Division will be Week 7 Make-Up Races, and the second features for the Late Models and the Street Stocks will be the regularly scheduled Week 8 feature races.

Camden Speedway in Camden, TN has all four Divisions in action with Late Models, Street Stocks, Late Model Sportsmen, and Modified Sportsmen. North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL will present the Late Models, Late Model Sportsmen, and Modified Sportsmen on Saturday night. Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL will host the Late Models, Late Model Sportsmen, and Modified Sportsmen on Saturday night.

Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS has the Late Models, Street Stocks, and Late Model Sportsmen in action on Saturday night. Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, TN and Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS will each host the Late Models and Street Stocks on Saturday night.

ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL presents the Street Stocks and Late Model Sportsmen on Saturday night, and the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stocks will be at Southern Raceway in Milton, FL, and at Thunder Valley Speedway in Glenmora, LA on Saturday night.

Matt Brazil of Red Bay, AL is the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division National point leader, and Joseph Nicholson of Fort Walton Beach, FL leads the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division National point standings.

Morgen Lambert of Booneville, MS is the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division National point leader and Luke Riddle of Hartselle, AL is the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division National point leader.
