SSU18, most of them are using crate motors. That's why it's basically all chevy's. When it formed a few years ago it was Nesmith Street Stock.

The street stocks in Mississippi and middle Tennessee pretty impressive. Some are 20k$ (or better) racecars. Several tracks around here have 5 grand to win races for them. Maybe they will get some more air time so you guys can see the action they produce. Keep eye on Lee Ray, TK King, Justin McKree. I wish the Jeremy Idom 55 chevy street stock was there.

They were not racing for championship points. But, they are racing for pionts to set up the field for Sat. The top 18 cars in points from the first two nights will be locked in on Sat.

Stokes will get track better. But 100 laps Saturday, you gotta get the supers out early. Earl Baltes hot laps. That means quicker than quick. And Let all the lower stuff run last.

Finally An event I can watch live all weekend. Supposed to be in Mansfield for the sprints but just can’t get into them.
We spent the money and have tickets to support the track but spicy we go up to the sprint race.
