ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Another busy weekend of Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series action is on tap beginning tonight and running through Saturday night. There are 17 events on the Week 10 schedule at 14 different tracks in seven different states from Kansas to Alabama, Tennessee to Florida with Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Mississippi in between.

There are 12 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division races, 12 Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division races, eight Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division Races, and five Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division races on the Week 10 schedule of events.

We will also take a look at the Weekly Point Averages, or WPAs, for the Top 20 drivers in the National point standings for each Division with five or more weeks of competition. The WPA is a gauge of who’s hot and who’s not among the Top 20 before they reach the 14 Week mark of the 27-week 2019 season. The WPAs will also be listed in the complete National point standings at www.durrencelayneracing.com.

Magnolia Motor Speedway is going to be a busy place during Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Week 10 competition. They have the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Stocks in action tonight, on Friday night paying $1,000-to-win, and again on Saturday night paying $1,000-to-win.

The Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division will be in action on Friday night and Saturday night. The Saturday night Late Model show at The Mag pays $1,000-to-win. The Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division will compete at Magnolia Motor Speedway on Friday night and Saturday night.

Southern Raceway in Milton, FL has two races on the Week 10 schedule. The Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division will be in action on Friday night, and the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division and the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division will compete at Southern Raceway on Saturday night.

Moulton Speedway in Danville, AL will host a special race for the Durrence Layne Late Model Sportsman Division on Friday night paying $1,000-to-win. The Late Model, Street Stock, and the Modified Sportsman Divisions will also be in action on Friday night at Moulton Speedway.

Tennessee National Raceway in Hohenwald, TN will present the Street Stocks and Modified Sportsmen on Friday night. Salina Speedway in Salina, KS will host the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division on Friday night.

Camden Speedway in Camden, TN has all four Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Division in action on Saturday night with the Late Models, Street Stocks, Late Model Sportsmen, and Modified Sportsmen. The Street Stocks and Late Model Sportsmen, who will race for $1,000-to-win, will be in action on Saturday night at ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL.

A pair of Mississippi Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series tracks, Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS and Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS will each host the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division and the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division on Saturday night.

Enid Motor Speedway in Enid, OK is scheduled to have the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division in action on Saturday night. This event will be co-sanctioned with NCRA. North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL has the Late Models, Late Model Sportsmen, and Modified Sportsmen this Saturday night.

Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL will host the Late Models, Late Model Sportsmen and Modified Sportsmen this Saturday night. Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN will present the Late Models, Street Stocks, and Modified Sportsmen this Saturday night, and Thunder Valley Speedway in Glenmora, LA has the Street Stock Division this Saturday night.

Steve Russell of Pontotoc, MS has the highest WPA in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division at 48.33 out of a possible 50. Russell is sixth in the National standings with 290 points after six weeks of racing. Jason Jarrell of Hattiesburg, MS and Braden Mitchell of Russellville, AL are tied for the seventh in the National standings with 289 points with six weeks of racing, and both have a WPA at 48.17.

Cole Cameron of Hattiesburg, MS leads the Late Model National standings with 334 points after seven weeks of competition and is fourth on the WPA list at 47.71. Chris McElhenney of Decatur, MS is 16th in the National Late Model standings with 234 points after five weeks of racing, and is fifth on the WPA list at 46.80.

In the Durrence Layne Performance Street Stock Division, the 20th-place driver in the National standings, Eddie Rhinehart of Lawrenceburg, TN has the highest WPA at 49 with 245 points after five weeks of competition. Calvin Cook of Milton, FL is third in the Street Stock National standings with 341 point after seven weeks of racing, and is second on the WPA list at 48.71.

Louisiana’s Joe Rachel is third on the WPA list at 48.17 and eighth in the National standings with 289 points after six weeks of racing. Jason Baker of Addison, AL is ninth in the National standings with 288 points after six weeks of racing and is fourth on the WPA list at 48. Derek Perkins of Louisiana and Chad Winkles of Hartselle, AL are tied for tenth in the National standings with 287 points after six weeks of racing, and fifth on the WPA at 47.83.

The eighth, ninth, tenth and 11th-place drivers in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division are the top four drivers on the WPA list. Ryan King of Anniston, AL is eighth in the National standings with 248 points after five weeks of racing and has the highest WPA at 49.60.

Blake Ray of Russellville, AL is second on the WPA list at 47.80 and is ninth in the Late Model Sportsman National standings with 239 points after five weeks. Chace Pennington is tenth in the National standings with 238 points and third on the WPA list at 47.60.

Tony Chaney of Tuscumbia, AL is fourth on the WPA list at 47.20 and 11th in the National standings with 236 points after five week of competition. Cruz Wallace of Tuscumbia, AL and Bryson Mitchell of Russellville, AL are tied for second in the National standings with 277 points after six weeks of racing and are tied for fifth on the WPA list at 46.17.

Luke Riddle of Hartselle, AL is number one across the board in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division. Riddle leads the National standings with 342 points after seven weeks of racing and is on top of the WPA list at 48.86. Bradley Qualls of Pleasantville, TN is ninth in the National standings with 240 points after five weeks of racing and second on the WPA list at 48.

The defending Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman National Champion Oakley Gillespie of Five Points, TN is second in the National standings with 329 points after seven weeks of racing and has the third highest WPA at 47.
Casey Dunavan of Medina, TN is 11th in the National standings with 227 points after five weeks of racing and has the fourth highest WPA at 45.40. Bobby Joe Hickman Jr. of Columbia, TN has the fifth highest WPA at 44.80 and is 12th in the National standings with 224 points after five weeks of racing.
