Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series Back in Action at Tri-County June 14, I-75 June 15

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (June 10, 2019) – The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series will return to racing competition with a double-header weekend of action on Friday June 14 at Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC for $1,000 to win, followed then on Saturday June 15 at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, TN for $1,500 to win.

The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series will make its second visit of the season to Tri-County Race Track for an event that will pay $1,000 to win and $100 start. In addition to the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series, the American Crate All-Star Series will be in competition for $2,000 to win and Super Late Models will be racing for $1,500 to win. There will also be a full racing program for the Interstate Welding Modified Hobby/602 ($400 to win), Street Stock ($300 to win), Pony ($300 to win), Front Wheel Drive ($125 to win), and 602 Beginner Class ($125 to win) divisions. The pit area will open at 4:00 pm with the grandstand area opening at 5:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 7:00 p.m., followed immediately by practice, time trials, and green flag racing. Ticket prices for the Friday June 14 event at Tri-County Race Track in the general admission area will be $18 for adults, young adults ages 11 to 16 will be $10, with children ages 10 and under free. A pit pass will be $35 for adults, $20 for young adults ages 11 to 16, while children ages 10 and under are free.

The following evening, Saturday June 15, the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modifieds will be at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, TN for an event that will pay $1,500 to win and $150 to start. The event for originally scheduled for May 4 but was postponed due to inclement weather. Joining the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modifieds at I-75 Raceway on Saturday June 15 will be track’s Limited Late Models, Sportsman, B-Sportsman, A-Hobby, B-Hobby, Thunder, Four Cylinder, and Front Wheel Drive divisions. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m., with the drivers meeting at 6:45 p.m., followed by practice at 7:00 p.m. Ticket prices for the Saturday June 15 event at I-75 Raceway in the general admission area will $15 for adults, children ages 6 to 11 will be $5, with children ages 5 and under free. In tier parking, adult admission will be $15, with children ages 6 to 11 being $10, with children ages 5 and under free. Pit passes will be $30 for adults, with children ages 6 to 11 costing $15, while children ages 5 and under are free.

The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series will sanction the Open Wheel Modified portion of the event and tire rules are as follows: Hoosier M30 or M60 and American Racer Hard and Extra Hard. The Hoosier M60 and American Racer Extra Hard may be used as a right-rear option. The series runs under UMP technical rules. The entry fee for the event at Tri-County will be $25 and the entry fee at I-75 will be $50. Random tire samples will be taken by the series.

The last event contested for the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series was also at Tri-County Race Track back on May 3 and Clayton Miller of Elkton, KY would the checkered flag in that event ahead of Amos Bunch, Jesse Rupe, Wayne James, and Tyler James.
