ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Nine races in four different states are on the Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Week 14 schedule for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division. Even though the series has reached the 14-week point of the season, several rainouts over the first 13 weeks of the season will give drivers a few more weeks to earn full points.

Drivers racing in Durrence Layne Weekly Racing events compete for both a Track point fund and a National point fund. Drivers compete against drivers racing at Durrence Layne Racing sanctioned tracks across the country using a National points system over a 27-week season that concludes on September 29.

A driver’s best 14 weekly point totals count as their season total. The top ten drivers in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division National point standings will earn a seat at the Durrence Layne Racing Annual Awards Banquet to receive a point fund check worth $10,000 and a trophy.

There will be one Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division race on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS. Camden Speedway in Camden, TN will host the Late Models on Saturday night, as will Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA, Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, TN, Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS, and Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS.

North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL will present a $1,000-to-win race for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division on Saturday night. Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL and Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN will also have Late Model events on Saturday night.
