i have a Holley HP main body 750 Carb 134-300c. It came with 72/84 jets. I installed a rear metering block with no power valve. I want to use it on a 383 aluminum head modified motor. Flat top pistons, solid lift cam,6 inch rods,205 on the intake runners and cam at .584 lift. and has a long duration. I installed a rear metering block with no power valve. What is a good starting point for the jets ? Make them even front and back ? 4 to 6 Steps higher in the rear ? Leave them like they are ??

your jets on rear are what we normally run with no power valve , my range is between 80 and 86 , according to what the engine needs ,

Power valve typically adds about 20%but that can very. Sounds like it didn't or shouldn't have had one to beggin with from your jetting
