Conley Motorsports, Inc. Starts Month of August at Four Different Tracks

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Delmas and Rod Conley were both in dirt-slinging action over the July 26-27 weekend in the Buckeye State of Ohio. Delmas, who is a Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer, unloaded his famed #71 machine on Saturday evening at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio. The patriarch of the racing Conley clan placed third in his heat race and ran amongst the top five throughout the $2,000 to win weekly main event. At the checkers in the 25-lapper, Delmas found himself in the fourth position behind only victor Steve Casebolt, Mark Frazier, and Freddie Carpenter.

Rod and his #71r team invaded both Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, Ohio and Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio over the weekend for a pair of $3,000 to win Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series tilts. On Friday at Hilltop, Rod wound up sixth in the final finishing order behind only race winner Tyler Carpenter, Corey Conley, Freddie Carpenter, Mike Pegher, Jr., and J.R. Gentry. At Wayne County on Saturday night in the annual 'Gross Memorial,' Rod finished second in heat race action and later crossed the finish line in the ninth spot after 30 green flag feature circuits. A diversified racing schedule greets Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) over the August 2-3 weekend, as they will be a fixture throughout the states of Ohio and West Virginia. Rod will return to competition with the Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series with weekend specials at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex in Peebles, Ohio ($3,000 to win) on Friday and at Princeton Speedway in Princeton, West Virginia ($5,000 to win) on Saturday.

R.J. Conley will join his brother at Brushcreek on Friday before heading to Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday where he and J.T. Conley will vie for the $2,000 top prize in a weekly Super Late Model program. Delmas, on the other hand, is scheduled to once again venture north about an hour to Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on Saturday for another weekly showdown, which boasts a $2,000 winner’s check.
