Visit historic rabbit hash- 15 minutes from the track. The restaurant on the corner just down from the track is good.

There is a electric go kart rental track near the mall. Lawrenceburg is about 30 mins west if you're into gambling.

City BBQ is a must-visit for lunch. Limited choices after the races though. Hooters, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Quaker Steak and Lube are about the only options open late where you can get food and beer.

If you want to venture 25 minutes across the river into Cincinnati, there's plenty places along the riverfront.
Area called The Banks near the Great American Ballpark.

IMO, Stay away from the Skyline chilli that is popular in that area. I has an overbearing cinnamin taste. It don't hold a candle to Wendys chilli . Vastly overrated.

You should just tailgate like a normal race fan.

Up the road in Sparta across from Kentucky Speedway, there is a place called "RACERS."

Racers closed down several years ago. You'll have to go to Lawrenceburg for that kind of entertainment.

You can get to Belterra pretty quickly down 42, and cross at the dam.

Tons of food options around Florence.

You could go to the gentleman’s club Saturday after the races- then go to Beaver Luck Babtist Church on Sunday morning and put the same $$ you spent at the strip club in the offering plate !
Just an idea?

The church is just across Hwy. 42 from Lanigan’s house & shop.

Both are great, but Woodford is an hour and a half away, and beam is 2 hours. There are some smaller craft distilleries in town though. Boone County Distilling is in Florence, and New Riff distilling is in Newport. They are small tours. Boone County is too new to be selling their own stock, but they are selling a pretty good mgp with their label on it. New Riff just came out with their own stuff. I'm not a big fan.
