ADAIRSVILLE, GA The Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Week 20 schedule of events for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division shows eight races over the weekend. There will be one Friday night race at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS, and seven races to be contested on Saturday night.
Saturday night Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division races are scheduled for Camden Speedway in Camden, TN, ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL, Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS, Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL, Southern Raceway in Milton, FL, and Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL.
Braden Mitchell of Russellville, AL leads the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division National standings with a best 14-week total of 680 points. Mitchell will be trying to net on a 43, which means he would have to finish seventh or better in his next race to gain any points on his best 14-week total.
Behind the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division point leader, two drivers separated by just one point for the second spot in the National Standings will battle it out in Week 20 competition.
Cruz Wallace of Tuscumbia, AL is second in the National standings with a best 14-wee k total of 656 points. Wallace will try to net on a 41 in his next start, so he would have to finish ninth or better to add any points to his best 14-week total.
