Gregg Satterlee Conquers ULTIMATE Northeast Field at Path Valley
Preps for World of Outlaws Pennsylvania Doubleheader

Indiana, Pennsylvania (08/13/19) – Gregg Satterlee pocketed $3,000 on Friday night for his first-career ULTIMATE Northeast Super Late Model Series victory in his Satterlee Petroleum Distributors No. 22 Valvoline/ Rocket Chassis XR1/ Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model.

“[The track] was a little different tonight. We’ve only ever raced here once, and it was a little wider and with a cushion and we raced way harder,” Satterlee said on Friday night after registering his second win of 2019. “Tonight, everyone kept getting down in the infield and it was really kinda right around the bottom. Which they did put tires out, and it was really good for awhile. It was clean and I was moving around, but there at the end it kinda got one-laned and I was just trying to be patient, trying not to overrun the corners and do something stupid and give the win away.”

Gregg Satterlee traveled to Path Valley Speedway (Spring Run, Pennsylvania) on Saturday night, piloting his Satterlee Petroleum Distributors No. 22 Super Late Model for the Ultimate Northeast Series sanctioned contest. In a field of 26 cars, Gregg recorded the seventh-fastest time in qualifying before picking up a heat race victory.

Receiving the runner-up, starting position for the A-Main, Satterlee led wire-to-wire to score his second triumph of 2019. Jason Covert, Austin Hubbard, Jared Miley, and Coleby Frye completed the Top-5 finishers. He earned a $3,000 payday for his dominant performance in the 40-lap affair.

The following night at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) for the Showdown on Sandhill, Satterlee locked his spot into Ultimate Northeast Series sanctioned feature with a heat race victory.

With $3,000 on the line in the finale, Gregg jumped out an early lead before Jared Miley snuck past on lap 13. After challenging Miley for the top spot late in the race, Satterlee settled for a runner-up finish behind Miley with Dylan Yoder, Matt Cosner, and Jason Covert trailing them to the checkers.
