Bert Gen 1 oil leak

I have a newer Gen 1 Bert. This just started. Oil coming out the plastic air vent. What should I look for? Bad vent? Did not have time to investigate. Back to the shop tomorrow. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Were you warming the engine up in the shop? Mine would do that, too. I'd always fill it to the bottom of the fill hole after servicing, but I believe that is actually a little too much (don't quote me on that, though). I believe they technically hold a little under 1 quart.

I believe it says 1/2" below plug opening

Yes I was warming the engine in the shop. Just very confusing as it has never done this before. I will check level tomorrow and try again. It left a 4" diameter puddle after about 10 minutes of running. Thanks Jet09 and Billet for the replies.

it holds 3/4 quart to the bottom of the plus but itll still blow some out of the vent usually. alot of times ppl will tap that hole and run a different setup
