Billy Moyer has a piece of sheet metal on top of his rollbars...so not completely topless.

Ok looks like several of them do. I've never seen that before, but I've never really paid attention.

A few of them did last night as well.

Yes, It's a team option allowed.
Personally, topless should be topless.
That's like going into a strip club and all you see are pasties everywhere.

25 laps in...same as last night's podium (reverse team zero). Madden, Bloomer, JD.

Track is rubbering up badly...going to be tough to pass Madden with single file restart.

Madden is the terminator these days. Unstoppable.

#FALSuperman
08-17-2019, 11:22 PM
Last 30 laps were single file basically. JD tried hard to go outside and couldn't make it stick.
Loved the first 60 laps of this race...not so much going on at all last 30 laps.
Madden, what can you say? He's the guy right now.

I think Overton had a car to win, but there wasn’t any way to pass, so who knows. I don’t know what those Zero cars are doing, but they’re definitely doing something. Madden is pretty much unbeatable right now.

Overton was best out there, Madden 2nd best. Track rubbered up and couldn't pass last 30+ laps. Hats off to Team Zero.

Overton had his chance to pass madden. But he couldn’t capitalize on it. If bloomer was a 100 % healthy. I think he wins this race. I’m sure he is hurting now

Just incredible Madden can do so well in a new ride. The Bloomquist chassis is making Madden really look good and Madden is making the Bloomquist chassis look good. What a great combination. Bloomquist has to be a genius for selecting Madden to drive his backup car.

Team zero is hot!!!Would have been nice to see Rocky Weiss. Win his first woo race tonight. Heard it was good race between him Ziegler

Can he do it again at Mansfield?

The bloomer chassises are at the best. When the track slicks off and rubbered up

These 2 things are complete opposites.

No doubt about. I think Weiss is going to break thru here real soon. Start to win more races. He was the leading firecracker with 5 to go or so got a flat tire

Bloomquist did prove he can go 100 laps. I would say he is good enough to win. Can he beat Madden at Mansfield and Eldora ? I don't know.

Dirt Racing #1
08-17-2019, 11:58 PM
Yes he proved he could run 100 laps. But how much did pain & bouncing of the car effect his racing? He said in post race interview his hip was hurting pretty bad. From the track being choppy causing car to bounce

Now, can they PLEASE buy Madden a new fire suit. I know this isn't nascar, but hes won like $160k in a suit with the team sponsors that fired him/ "mutually" split ways.

Well finally word got out on what his injuries were. Shattered knee cap, 21 screws in his hip. JD needs to go over to Scott and give him that cape. Meet the real superman, Scott Bloomquist, love him or hate him I can't imagine the discomfort he is in driving that car.

So was the track any better than previous nights ?

No. It was different. More slick than the other nights in the places the track was smooth, but still had the ruts. Then bolted down on the bottom last 25 laps.

Maybe folks wouldn't question his injuries if he didn't have a long running history of questionable behavior.

You can tell by how he walks. That he is in pain. Do you want the official x rays. To confirm that he messed his hip and knee cap up?

TerryM

He looks terrible when he’s walking, no doubt. I had a really good 15-20 minute talk with him at Florence last weekend. I thought he looked and sounded better than I’ve seen him in a few years. He said it actually doesn’t bother him too much when he’s in the car. He said the pain isn’t too bad when he’s driving and he isn’t having any issues with endurance or anything like that. And he proved that last night. He had the one slip up but it was because he made the decision to get off the bottom briefly. That cost him the lead, or otherwise he very well may have won. He’s not going to be 100% out of the car anytime soon, but he’s clearly the same old Scott when he gets behind the wheel. I also think Chris is a very good influence on Scott, so that’s another plus. It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Scott win the World here in a couple weeks. Of course he’ll have to beat Chris to do it. It’s going to be exciting. I went every year for a long long time, but haven’t been since I moved to Georgia in 2014. I can’t wait!

I questioned how long lived this relationship would be but got to admit it’s a clicking right now. And the longer it continues being this successful the harder it will be for the parties to walk away. Rest of the late model world has to be shaking their head.

I think Cody had a lot to do with madden piloting the bloomer back up car. Cody was hired to basically run the business. Which is to make money a profit. Madden isn’t going to leave a good thing. Sooner or later madden will cool down. But, he is a smooth driver and should be consistently up front.

We're not talking about solid lexan window nets or funky shocks or something here.

He got hit while riding his motorcycle. Pretty clear-cut to most people.
