PHOENIX, Ariz. (Oct. 4, 2019) – Black Diamond Race Cars will return as a backer of the 2020 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway, serving as the presenting sponsor of the event’s headline Super Late Model division.

A Shreveport, La.-based Dirt Late Model chassis manufacturer operated by Ronnie and Terri Stuckey, Black Diamond has a long history of involvement in the Southwest’s mid-winter racing extravaganza that in
2020 features six nights of racing from Jan. 11-19. The Dirt Track Bank Super Late Models presented by Black Diamond Race Cars will contest five $5,000-to-win events and a $15,000-to-win finale while Modifieds and X-Mods are on the cards as supporting classes.

“Ronnie and Terri Stuckey are two of our most adamant supporters,”
said Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout event manager Ben Shelton. “Not only do they obviously believe in racing with their championship-winning chassis company, but they also believe in the Wild West Shootout. They are always looking to help in any way possible to help us grow the event. Without their support, there’s no way that we would’ve been able to grow the Wild West Shootout into the mega-event that you see today.”

Ronnie Stuckey, who also owns the Black Diamond house car team that Earl Pearson Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., campaigns on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and in other major events, fielded entries for both Pearson and his team’s crew chief, Garrett Alberson of Las Cruces, N.M., in last year’s Wild West Shootout but was unable to attend himself due to health problems. Now recovered and back traveling, he’s anxious to make his return to Arizona in January.

“We’re proud to be a sponsor of an event that continues to grow every year,” Stuckey said. “We’re looking forward to (January’s) Wild West Shootout and seeing some great racing.”

Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout officials recently announced that on-line sales of single- and multi-day tickets have begun for the popular miniseries, which will pay out over $230,000 in purses over six nights of Super Late Model, Modified and X-Mod racing.
Tripleheaders are set for Jan. 11, 12, 15, 17, 18 and 19.

The Super Late Model portion of the miniseries will once again boast the Keyser Quarter-Million Challenge, a lucrative program that offers a $250,000 bonus for sweeping all six features; $100,000 for winning five; $25,000 for capturing four; and $10,000 for claiming three. A driver able to pull off the feat of sweeping the races would depart Arizona with over $290,000.
