Billy Moyer Racing Eyes Upcoming ‘Spooky 50’ at Chatham Speedway

(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) With the 2019 racing season quickly coming to a close, Hall of Famer Billy Moyer and his #21 team still plan on entering several lucrative Super Late Model specials – one of which is the upcoming ‘Spooky 50’ at Chatham Speedway! The Louisiana Late Model Series will preside over the program at the Chatham, Louisiana oval, which starts with an open practice session on Thursday, October 17. Qualifying and heat races will then be held on Friday, October 18, while the headliner for the ground-pounding Supers will be on Saturday, October 19 with a $5,000 top prize up for grabs. Be sure to come out to Chatham to watch Billy sling dirt in one of his final appearances during the ’19 campaign while he guns for career victory #841!

To kick off the weekend of events for the 26th edition of the ‘Spooky 50,’ Billy will participate in a public appearance on Thursday, October 17 from 1:00pm- 3:00pm at Logan's Roadhouse (parking lot) located at 201 Constitution Drive in Monroe, Louisiana. Local television and radio will be on hand doing a live remote of the appearance, including driver interviews. Billy and other drivers will also be available for autographs and several giveaways!

Along with the Super Late Models, the USCS Sprint Cars will be in action at the Pelican State facility, as champion open wheel drivers such as Tony Stewart, Morgan Turpen, and Terry Gray will compete in a pair of full events on Friday and Saturday. Winged Modified, Limited, Street Stock, BMod, Factory, and Compact divisions will also keep fans on the edge of their seats throughout the three-day extravaganza, as they each race for a $1,000 payday. As an incentive to attend the Thursday practice session, track officials will award the top two fastest drivers in each division a provisional into Saturday’s annual ‘Spooky 50.’
