RHRSwag.com, Barnett Harley-Davidson continue as X-Mod division sponsors at 2020 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout

SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. (Oct. 18, 2019) — X-Mod drivers competing in the
2020 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts on Jan. 11-19 at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway will once again chase a points fund provided by title sponsor RHRSwag.com and presenting sponsor Barnett Harley-Davidson.

A $1,000 payoff has been posted for the champion of the six-race X-Mod miniseries, which includes four $500-to-win features and $1,000-to-win headliners on Jan. 12 and 19. The division’s total points fund is $2,500 in cash — to be shared among the top-five finishers — courtesy of RHRSwag.com and Barnett Harley Davidson.

Scott Blintz — aka the “Red Headed Rebel” — heads RHRSwag.com, a Jamestown, N.D.-based company that offers a wide variety of “cool products” for dirt-track racers and fans. Blintz is a longtime supporter of the Wild West Shootout and a Modified racer himself who retired from competition after competing in the 2019 miniseries.

Dubbed the “World’s Most Liked Harley-Davidson Dealership,” Barnett Harley-Davidson is located in El Paso, Texas, and has become a stalwart sponsor of the Wild West Shootout activities through its owner Sherman Barnett, who has also been a participant in the mid-winter event along with his wife Christy Georges-Barnett.

“One of the best things about so many Wild West Shootout sponsors is how involved they are with the event either with attendance or participation,” said Wild West Shootout marketing coordinator Jason Babyak. “The X-Mod class is no different in that Sherman Barnett from Barnett Harley Davidson races and sponsors the class and Scott Bintz from RHR Swag has always done both as well. Although in 2020 Scott will be a sponsor and a spectator as he retired from racing after our
2019 event, where we recognized his efforts in racing by naming him the 2019 Grand Marshal.

“I am thrilled that Scott Bintz has opted to stay on as an event sponsor for the X-Mod class. It is definitely an event that will always be special to Scott, and he sees the value in what we can bring to the local fans and DirtOnDirt.com’s pay-per-view broadcast audience in regards to RHRSwag.com and the new products that they develop.

“Sherman Barnett has been racing longer than most of the people he’s racing against have been alive, and that in itself is more than impressive,” Babyak added. “He’s a person who always has a smile climbing in as well as out of his car, and a passion and love for the sport like that is one that is hard to duplicate. We are honored to have him with us again in 2020 as a sponsor and a participant.”

Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout officials recently announced that online sales of single- and multi-day tickets have begun for the popular miniseries, which will pay out over $200,000 in purses over six nights of Super Late Model, Modified and X-Mod racing.
Tripleheaders are set for Jan. 11, 12, 15, 17, 18 and 19. Fans, can pick up their advanced tickets by visiting www.wildwestshootout.net/schedule/ and it’s worth noting that anyone, who buys a six-day package gets a one-day, free pit pass upgrade along with a free seat cushion.

The Super Late Model portion of the miniseries will once again boast the Keyser Quarter-Million Challenge, a lucrative program that offers a $250,000 bonus for sweeping all six features; $100,000 for winning five; $25,000 for capturing four; and $10,000 for claiming three. A driver able to pull off the feat of sweeping the races would depart Arizona with over $293,000.

Fans and competitors planning trips to FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway can also now book rooms as the Wild West Shootout’s official hotel, Hyatt Place Phoenix Gilbert in Gilbert, Ariz. Located approximately 20 minutes from the track, a $119 per night room rate for king or two-queen rooms is available for WWS attendees who call 1-888-591-1234 or visit www.HyattPlaceGilbert.com and use the code G-WILD by Dec. 17.
