Kovac said this in one of his dod stories, I don’t think I really find it that different, schatz runs a rocket and I don’t think sheppys grandpa is to fond of this race. He was in a blue gray rocket last year.

Why would his grandpa not be fond of Gateway, Brandon and his Dad were bullring racers and Shepps Speedway was a 5th mile lol smh...

Because the dome is a logistical nightmare for teams.

Because the show is waaay more for the fans than it is the racers. It’s not a great on track product, especially the late models IMO. Just not my cup of tea event.

Why would the best team in DLM racing be at an event like that? Makes no sense to me. If it were a WOO show Richards would be first in line with bells on being interviews by DoD!!!

Maybe they have no interest in running a 40 mph(if that) LM race on a made up track where starting position is extremely important. I don't blame them and I wouldn't go either.

Mark enjoys taking his winters off, more so now that he's in a relationship and a grandfather. So does his crew members. Why interrupt that for a novelty race that they will learn nothing at and get little to nothing of a ROI.

Ok, you don't like the slow speeds; but you're getting absurd.

Every track is made up and most races starting position is extremely important.
